We keep analytics switched off by default. Google Consent Mode v2 holds analytics_storage at denied from the first byte of every page, so nothing measures you before you make a choice.
If you accept, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics 4, which sets the _ga and _ga_<id> cookies. They let us tell a returning visitor from a new one, and they expire after two years.
Your answer is kept in a cookie on your own device, named cookie-consent, which this site sets for you and which lasts 12 months. Your browser has to tell this site the answer for that cookie to be set, but nothing else is done with it: it is not kept in our records, not passed to anyone else, and no profile is built from it. Clear your site data and the cookie goes with it, and the banner asks again.
We use cookies to measure traffic and, if you accept, for advertising. Accept to allow them, or reject to keep them off. Privacy policy
Google Analytics counts visits and shows how pages are used. It stores an identifier in your browser for two years and sends it to Google, a third party.
Lets Google use this visit for ad measurement and personalised ads, and store an advertising identifier that links a click on a Google ad elsewhere to your visit here.
